Nigeria's Super Eagles have jumped three places to 36th in the latest FIFA men's rankings, released on the federation's official website, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

The three-time African champions also improved their continental standing, moving from sixth to fourth in Africa.

The Super Eagles' sole October engagement, a 1-0 win over Libya in a 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier, contributed to their rise.

Morocco, Senegal, and Egypt remain the only African teams ranked above Nigeria.

Globally, Argentina retain top spot, followed by France and Spain. England and Brazil complete the top five.

The next FIFA World Ranking is scheduled for publication on 28 November.
