Nigerian striker joins Kuwaiti club Al Yamourk FC

Nigeria's Super Eagles striker Brown Ideye continues his football career after he sealed a move to the Kuwait Pro League.

Ideye started his professional career with Bayelsa United and Ocean Boys before moving to Europe to sign with Swiss Super League club Neuchâtel Xamax in 2008.

The 2013 African Cup of Nations winner has played for several European clubs before joining the Kuwaiti club Al Yamourk FC on a year deal.

The club confirmed the acquisition of Ideye through its official news outlet.

"Yarmouk announced the official signing of Nigerian player Brown, to join our first football team for the 2022/2023 season," the club said.

Ideye has played in Switzerland, Ukraine, Turkey, Greece, England and France in the past.
