Nigeria coach confident of winning WAFU 2017 Grand finale but admits is a difficult task
Local Super Eagle head coach Salisu Yussuf is optimistic his side will defeat Ghana to conquer West Africa.
Nigeria would like nothing more than to win the WAFU 2017 final against rivals Ghana at the Cape Coast stadium.
Nigeria muddled through the group stage with two draws, downed Ghana 2-0 and got past Benin 1- 0 in the semi-final.
They face Ghana in Sunday's final having shown inspiration, tactical discipline and determination to win the cup, Salisu is confident his side is ready to defeat the Local Black Stars twice in four days.
"Confidence is high, Ghana is a good team ,the game is going to be very tough, defeating Ghana twice within five days is a very difficult thing,but we know we need to win the cup we need to beat them." He told Ghanaguardian.com reporter Akakpo Snr Kakai.
CAF president Ahmad Ahmad will be present at the finals of the WAFU 2017 and will be his first time in Ghana to watch a tournament after he was elected as the Confederation of Africa Football President.
