NFF President Ibrahim Gusau meets with injured Super Eagles trio
President of Nigeria Football Federation, Alhaji Ibrahim Musa Gusau has been in Europe in the past few days visiting some players of the Super Eagles who are recuperating from injuries, Nigeriasoccernet.com can confirm.
Gusau was with with AFCON 2023 Player of the Tournament William Ekong in Thessaloniki, Greece after the Super Eagles on-field captain was operated on by PAOK shortly after reaching the final of the tournament in Abdijan.
Winger Moses Simon who has also been ruled out of the season in big blow to Nantes Ligue 1 top-flight survival was pictured with the Federation president in France as he continues his recuperation.
Lastly, Gusau met with defender Zaidu Sanusi in Porto, Portugal who also is being tipped to make a final appearance for his club before the end of the season depending on how well he fares in his injury as the Nigeria Football Federation reiterates their commitment to supporting the players both at the local and international level.
