Ghana and Bournemouth winger Christian Atsu has been named alongside Kone, and McGeady as the worse Everton players for the just ended season.
The 23 year old failed secure regular playing time at Goodison with only four starts in the Premier League all season.
Atsu joined Chelsea in 2003 and has since been loaned out to Vitesse where he was crowned fans best player of the season for the Dutch side.
Injury and inconsistency when given the opportunity meant the Ghanaian failed to hit the required mark and was seen as one of the reasons for the below par season Everton has had.
“I honestly don’t think we had any outstanding individuals this season,” a survey from Everton fans on UK based paper thegaurdian reported
“Jagielka and McCarthy played well for most of the campaign, though, and Lukaku deserves praise for scoring 20 goals.”
“The flops Atsu, Koné and McGeady didn’t live up to expectations, but they were out injured for long periods. Distin and Alcaraz were both poor.”
The former Porto midfielder at 23 has almost 40 cups for Ghana and was the best player during the Africa cup of nations in Equatorial Guinea earlier in the year.
