New Edubiase have not set their eyes on their top midfielder Asiedu Atobrah over a month, club president Abdul Salam Mumuni has revealed.
Atobrah, a former Ghana Under-20 midfielder has refused to return to Bekwai over unpaid wages.
The Ghanaian youngster is up in arms with his club, claiming he will not return until all arrears owed him are paid up.
Atobrah has not featured for the side since played for the Black Satellites at the 2015 World Youth Championship in New Zealand and club president Salam Mumuni has explained his absence.
“I don’t want to talk about Atobrah. He has not gone anywhere. He is in this country. He claims we owe him and so he won’t play,” he told Accra-based Happy FM
“If you want to become a star and you put up this attitude, it’s up to you. This kind of attitude does not play football.
“For once I’m putting my foot down. No player is bigger than New Edubiase. We have nothing to say but he should do what he likes.”
