The 2022 NBSL Super 4 kicked off on Friday at the Race Course in Birnin Kebbi with Kada and Kebbi starting their campaign on the right foot. The 3-day tournament is the final round of the 2022 season of the Nigeria Beach Soccer League.
Kada put twelve past Badagry
Lawal Isaka opened the 15-goal rump for Kada just 2 mins into the first period before the Badagry boys managed to put back 3 goals in the first period. Kada’s Dozie Frank and Tanko Emmanuel net 9 goals between them in the Second period. The Kaduna boys already dominating the game into the third and final period and netting 3 more goals, Badagry managed to add a goal, taking the final score to 15-4 in favour of Kada BSC.
A slim win for the defending champions
In the second match of the day between the defending champions Kebbi BSC and Smart City BSC who were the bronze medalist in the 2021 league season. Ekene Obi’s 4th mins goal opened the scoring chart for Kebbi, which kept them in the lead, even as Smart City keeps trailing behind.
The final whistle went with the scores at 5-4, wrapping up three points for Kebbi, Africa’s top-ranked club.
