NATIONS - Southgate on Hungary clash: ''We’ve got a very strong squad''

Gareth Southgate gave a press conference before of England's match against Hungary on Tuesday night.
“There will be changes. We’ve got a very strong squad, and we want the squad to feel involved. It is important they know their value and can contribute.
“It wasn’t a friendly [against Andorra], there were qualification points at stake and I was really pleased with the quality of the performance as well as the application.
“We have some minor knocks in the group but I don’t think there’s anything that will keep anyone out.”
“We’ve always had good players and the ability of modern players to play in a different way across Europe is fascinating to see. You see such a high level of technical quality everywhere.
“Our players can handle the ball in tight areas. I think we’ve gained a lot of respect across Europe now. There’s a greater appreciation of what we’re doing and how we’re playing, probably more so than there is here.''
