Nasarawa United Players Get Cash Rewards After Impressive Away Win Over Bendel Insurance
Nasarawa United players have been rewarded with cash gifts following their impressive 1–0 victory over Bendel Insurance in a Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) Matchday 7 encounter at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium, Benin City, on Saturday, reports NigeriaSoccernet.com.
The hard-fought win, which extended the Solid Miners’ unbeaten run to six matches, was celebrated by the Nasarawa State Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Hon. Kwanta Yakubu, who fulfilled his promise of ?500,000 to the team for their outstanding performance.
In addition, the club chairman and a dedicated supporter also offered separate financial rewards to the players, recognizing their determination and consistency this season.
The result marked Nasarawa United’s fifth win of the 2025/26 campaign, reaffirming their status as one of the league’s most in-form sides as they continue to push for top position in the NPFL standings.
