Ghana U20 coach Sellas Tetteh says his first target is to qualify for the World Cup before aiming at winning a fourth African Youth Championship title.
The 2009 Africa and World Cup double winning coach leads the Black Satellites in Senegal in his third tournament.
Tetteh guided the 2013 year Group to win silver at the finals in Algeria and he is not fixed on becoming the first coach to win the tournament for a second time.
"Our first objective is to qualify for the World Cup. We want to be among the best four and then we can start thinking about the trophy," Tetteh told Ghana FA’s official website.
"It will be disappointing if we don't qualify for the World Cup but we shall work very hard and we hope to do very well and achieve our target."
Ghana begin their Group B campaign against South Africa on 9 March before handling Zambia and Mali.
