Nottingham Forest are preparing to part ways with Nigerian forward Emmanuel Dennis, with discussions underway over a mutual contract termination that would allow him to leave before the close of the transfer window, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

Dennis joined Forest from Watford in 2023 following the Hornets’ relegation, having impressed in the Premier League with 10 goals and six assists in 33 matches.

However, his time at the City Ground has been marred by injuries and limited opportunities, managing just 19 league appearances mostly as a substitute before being shipped out on multiple loan spells, the latest at Blackburn Rovers last season.

Now facing an uncertain future, the 26-year-old finds himself in a challenging position after years of instability, though talks are ongoing to secure a permanent solution.

While clubs in Italy have shown interest, options in Saudi Arabia and Turkey also remain on the table as Dennis looks to reignite his career.
