Michael Essien's Surrey home raided by thieves, stealing his £75,000 Range Rover Vogue
Ex-Chelsea star Michael Essien's Surrey home has been raided by burglars, making off with his flash Range Rover Vogue.
Police confirmed that the £75,000 vehicle was stolen earlier this month, on April 7.
Midfielder Essien now lives in Italy, playing for AC Milan, however he still owns the home which was purchased during his time at Chelsea.
The property is located near Chelsea's Cobham Training Centre.
A spokesman for Surrey Police told Mirror Online: "Officers have carried out a number of enquiries including extensive house-to-house in the local area and the investigation remains ongoing at this time."
Two other vehicles were stolen in the same raid at a different address in Water Lane, Cobham, in the early hours of the morning, including a Mercedes and a BMW.
o arrests have yet been made.
Essien, 32, arrived at Chelsea in 2005, joining from Lyon for a reported £24.4million.
He went on to play for Real Madrid before moving to Italy to play for AC Milan.
