Youngster Kwame Boateng scored a double to help Accra Great Olympics register their maiden win of the 2014/15 Ghana Premier League season after defeating Heart of Lions 3-2 at the Accra Sports Stadium on Wednesday afternoon.

Lions had scared the host after equalising Godfred Asante's early minute opener and taking a firm lead with Isaac Quansah and Osman Muntaka scoring at either halves.

But the Wonder Club returned from the break to restore parity for Olympics before scoring again in the 48th minute to register his second goal of the afternoon.

Olympics opened their campaign a disappointing 2-0 loss at AshGold on Sunday and needed redemption against Lions at the Accra Sports Stadium.

But they were made to work for their victory as Lions took a brief lead until Boateng took matters into his own hands to win the match for his side.
