Parting ways with Aston Villa after two seasons in, on a free move, 35-year old English goalkeeper Tom Heaton, according to Football Insider, is getting more and more likely to join Manchester United back. Red Devils manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, is in fact longing for former Burnley goalie to join and dwell as a backup, with Sergio Romero on his way out instead.
Likely to be signed on a year-long contract, including a further season-long extension, Heaton was a Manchester United alumni back in the early 2000's, and, throughout a lot of loan spells elsewhere, left Red Devils by a permanent move only in summer 2010.
More clubs Tom Heaton used to play for as well: Bristol City, Cardiff City, Wycombe Wanderers, AFC Rochdale, Queens Park Rangers, Royal Antwerp, Swindon Town.
