Luton troll Arsenal over new movie
Allsport UK/Allsport
As you may be aware, Arsenal's dramatic 1988-89 league title win is the subject of a new documentary movie called, simply and fittingly, "89."
With one game left of the season, the Gunners took on Liverpool in a winner-takes-all clash at Anfield, effectively knowing that the winner would be crowned First Division champions.
George Graham's side eventually went on to secure the 2-0 victory they needed when Michael Thomas scored in the final few seconds, sparking delirious celebrations in North London.
However, Luton Town haven't been quite so overwhelmed by the nostalgia on show, with the Hatters keen to remind their Arsenal counterparts of a similarly stunning result that cropped up at the tail end of the previous season..

Mocking up their own version of the 89 movie poster, Luton have paid homage to their own batch of late 1980s club legends.

Indeed, Ray Harford's underdogs came from 2-1 down to score twice in the last 10 minutes at Wembley and thus snatch a famous 3-2 victory over Arsenal -- an unlikely feat of which they are still immensely proud.
Quite right too.
