Liverpool’s Ronald Araujo future could hinge on Jarell Quansah decision

Ronald Araujo’s future at Liverpool may depend on whether Jarell Quansah returns to the club next summer.

The Uruguay defender currently belongs to Barcelona and is spending the season with Liverpool on loan.

According to journalist Ekrem Konur, Liverpool will have to decide next summer whether to activate a €55m option to sign Araujo permanently. The club’s decision could be influenced by the potential return of Quansah.

Araujo, 27, has made eight appearances for Liverpool in all competitions since joining the English club and has provided one assist.

Liverpool’s next fixture is against LASK on 14 October. The Champions League second-round match is scheduled to begin at 19:45 Moscow time.
