Tunisian club side, Le Stade Tunisien have seen their transfer ban lifted over Nigeria striker, Alimi Sikiru according to the news gathered by Nigeriasoccernet.com.
Various media outlets in Tunisia report that tje Tunisian club announced that the ban imposed by FIFA has been lifted after they made all payments due to all parties.
A tweet from Tunisian journalist, Ahmed Adala confirms the story.
"Stade Tunisien has just lifted the recruitment ban imposed on the club for non-payment of the transfer of its former striker Alimi Sikiru to MAS Fez.
Nigerian club Lobi Stars has received its share and Stade Tunisien is no longer banned from recruiting" A tweet translated in English from French says.
It will be recalled that Sikiru spent had moved to the Tunisian side before moving to Moroccan side, Mas Des Fez in 2020.
He left for Remo Stars after he became a free agent following the termination of his contract unlawfully by the Moroccan club.
