Lazio tracking Nigerian forward ahead of summer transfer window
Serie A outfit Lazio could add another Nigerian player to their squad next season after including Rafiu Durosimi on their transfer wish-list for the summer as they look to add more firepower to their attacking options, Nigeriasoccernet.com writes.
Marco Baroni's interest in Nigerian forward Durosimni remains strong, fueled by his impactful performance against them in the Europa League Round of 16. As per La Lazio Siamo Noi, the Roman club's sporting director Fabiani has already initiated contact with the Lagos-born striker's representatives, holding discussions prior to their away fixture against Viktoria Plzen.
Durosimni has impressed this season with the Czech side, registering eight goals and four assists in 17 appearances across all competitions. His current valuation is understood to be in the region of €8-9 million.
Meanwhile, the club are also keeping tabs on Fotis Ioannidis if they fail to get their dream target.
