Latest reports reveals likely player exchange between Liverpool, Atalanta
Liverpool is reportedly stepping up their interest in reigning CAF player of the year Ademola Lookman, who is very likely to leave Atalanta at the end of the season, with the EPL champions considering a potential swap deal plus cash with the Serie A outfit, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
It appears Atalanta is considering a strategic move to reacquire Federico Chiesa, a prospect that surfaced during the January transfer window when Liverpool held aspirations of securing Ademola Lookman's immediate transfer to Anfield.
While Atalanta's management resisted parting with Lookman mid-season, the summer transfer window is anticipated to reignite interest in the Nigerian international from a host of prominent clubs, including Liverpool, Arsenal, Manchester United, Juventus, and Napoli.
Atalanta has reportedly placed a substantial €60 million valuation on Lookman. Interestingly, Liverpool might explore the possibility of including Chiesa as part of an exchange deal to facilitate Lookman's move to Merseyside.
