Asante Kotoko’s General Manager Samuel Opoku Nti has confirmed the club will be signing at least two mega sponsorship agreements in the coming weeks.

The dethroned Premier League champions are one of the financially burdened clubs in Ghana despite boasting the highest number of corporate sponsorship.

Funds from their existing sponsors have proved insufficient to run the club at full length.

The current management have been working behind the scenes to secure more financial help from corporate bodies.

General Manager Opoku Nti has now confirmed the club will be announcing new sponsorship agreements in the coming weeks.

“Yes, we have held advanced talks towards securing more sponsors and at least two of them will be announced soon,” Nti revealed to Happy FM.

“The club will be making an announcement very soon. Talks are almost concluded.”

Kotoko will be looking to raise enough resources to replenish their squad for an expected title-challenge next season.
