Kotoko striker Dauda Mohammed believes their win over arch-rivals Hearts of Oak will spark a strong finish to the season.

The Porcupine Warriors recorded an hard-fought 2-1 win over their sworn rivals at the Accra sports stadium to heap pressure on the capital-based side.

Dauda, who scored the match winner is confident the victory will spur the team on to earn a top-four finish.

“It was a very good and important win for us. We hope we keep this kind of performance and maintain our rhythm in the remaining matches,” the 18-year-old said

“This stage is a very crucial stage because everyone is doing everything possible to get maximum points so we are also leaving no stone unturned.”

Kotoko host WA All Stars in Kumasi on Wednesday.
