Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp remains confident that his side can beat Napoli on Tuesday and progress to the last 16 of the Champions League.

The Reds are 10/11 to qualify despite losing all three of their away games in the competition to Paris St-Germain, Red Star Belgrade and Napoli.

Liverpool need either a 1-0 victory against the Serie A team or a win by two clear goals to finish in the top two in Group C.

Klopp's team are 17/2 to beat Napoli 2-0 and 7/4 to keep a clean sheet against Carlo Ancelotti's side.

"We knew after the Napoli game that was not good enough to get something there," admitted the former Borussia Dortmund boss. "Belgrade was not better. Paris was an absolutely OK away game; in the Champions League you can lose against PSG in their stadium. That can happen.

"So far at home we have been good but we have to be even better on Tuesday night. I told the boys, I really think if nothing special happens with referee decisions, we will get what we deserve on Tuesday.

"The only way to make sure is to really perform at our highest level in the two big parts of the game - defensive and offensive.

"Napoli did so well last season with Maurizio Sarri and now they have an experienced manager in Carlo Ancelotti. Napoli are good in possession and good at counter-attacking as well."
