King of Aslan: Osimhen's Stoppage-time strike secures Galatasaray win
Galatasaray edged Samsunspor 3-2 in a thrilling Turkish Süper Lig encounter on Friday, with Nigerian superstar Victor Osimhen scoring a brace, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
Osimhen's second and dramatic stoppage-time winner to seal all three points for the champions.
The hosts Galatasaray made a flying start, breaking the deadlock in the 8th minute through Leroy Sané's confident finish.
Osimhen then doubled the advantage in the 29th minute, putting Okan Buruk's side in control of the contest.
However, Samsunspor refused to give up, pulling one back in the 56th minute through Anthony Musaba's composed finish.
The visitors continued to push, and their persistence was rewarded late on when Emre K?l?nç struck an 88th-minute equaliser, silencing the home crowd.
But Osimhen, who has been in superb form, had the final say. The Nigerian forward reacted quickest inside the box, firing in a dramatic 90+3' winner to complete his brace and secure a vital victory for Galatasaray.
