Ghana midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng could be heading to Turkish side Galatasaray during the summer transfer window.

According to respected Italian journalist Gianluca di Marzio, the signing of the Schalke 04 misfit will be independent on the club’s presidential election this May.

The contest is between Dursun Ozbek and Turgay Kiran.

Boateng is expected to leave the Bundesliga outfit where he has made 17 appearances and dropped down the pecking order.

The 27-year-old has been linked with a return to Italy with AS Roma or  Juventus labelled as his likely destination.

Major League Soccer side New York Red Bulls have expressed interest in signing him.
