Kevin Boateng: Nike design new boots for Ghana star to mark his Black roots

Kevin-Prince Boateng will mark his return from injury with new Nike boots specially designed to honour his Black roots.

Nike unveiled the golden black footwear earlier this week and issued a statement and said the former AC Milan star will be wearing the boot to mark his black roots.

Boateng has a Ghanaian father and a German mother.

Though he is playing his senior international football for Ghana, he represented Germany at various youth levels before switching to play for Ghana before the 2010 FIFA World Cup.

Boateng is currently on international suspension by Ghana.
