Keshi unaware of his Nigeria sacking, fires scathing attack on 'deceitful' NFF
Stephen Keshi has launched a fierce verbal volley at the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) describing the decision to sack him as 'deceitful' insisting he has not received any notification of his dismissal as the Super Eagles coach.
The former Nigeria international defender insists he will report the NFF over his dismissal on Saturday night after spending just two months into his two-year contract at the Super Eagles coach.
The 58-year-old said the decision to sack him as the coach of the national team is meant to deceive Nigerians, implying there is cover-up for the real motives for his firing.
The NFF says Keshi was sacked for applying for the Ivory Coast coaching position but the former international who is currently in the United States to visit his family says he has not been informed of the decision to relief him of his post.
“I haven’t received any letter to that effect. Today is Saturday anyway,” Keshi told Complete Sports when asked about the decision to sack him on Saturday.
“Well they think their deceit will fool Nigerians? We’ll meet in CAS where justice will prevail.”
The 53-year-old was into his second spell as the Super Eagles coach after holding the reigns from 2011.
He won the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations with the Super Eagles but has been on a battle lane with the federation since then.

instead of blaming keshi for using super eagles like his personal property u r blaming nff president for doing what is good to save our football. since the downfall of his godfather i know he will be removed either by hook or by crook.
