Ghana defender Jonathan Mensah is set to play his first match for his Ligue 1 side Evian TG since returning from the Nations Cup after being named in the squad to face Lorient.

The 24-year-old was rested last week in their 2-0 win at Lens after helping Ghana to win silver at the tournament in Equatorial Guinea.

Evian TG coach Pascal Dupraz believes the centre-back has recovered to make an appearance at the at Parc des Sports d'Annecy against Lorient who have Ghana striker Jordan Ayew in their fold.

Mensah made nine appearances and scored one goal before the winter break.
