John Okoli linked with Ch. Brothers move from Al-Hilal
Nigerian centre-forward John Okoli, who plays for Al-Hilal, has been linked with a move to Indian Super League club Ch. Brothers.
The reported transfer emerged on 4 October 2026, with Okoli potentially moving from the Libyan Premier League to India. No transfer fee or agreement has been reported, and the move remains a rumour.
Okoli, 29, joined Al-Hilal on 1 September 2025 and is valued at €300,000. The Lagos-born striker has spent the past year with the Libyan club, where he operates as a centre-forward.
Ch. Brothers would be adding a player with experience in African club football to their forward options, although there is no indication yet that negotiations have reached an advanced stage.
Okoli’s current market value is below the highest figure recorded during his career, when it reached €500,000. His profile lists Nigeria as his nationality, while Al-Hilal are competing in the Libyan Premier League.
The reported interest comes more than a year after his arrival at Al-Hilal. With no contract-expiry information or confirmed terms attached to the rumour, Okoli remains an Al-Hilal player while the proposed switch to Ch. Brothers is unconfirmed.
