Ghanaian striker John Antwi could be on his way back to Egypt as giants Al Ahly have earmarked for next season, according to reports in Egypt.

Antwi, 22, joined Saudi Pro League side Al Shabab in January along defender Awal Mohamed who has terminated his deal with the club.

But the gangling striker is not happy at the club as he has failed to replicate his fine scoring form since arriving, scoring just four (4) in 11 appearances.

Shabab are willing to sell him off to Ahly who are looking to replace Ethiopian striker Saido Salahuddin.

Antwi scored 13 times last season for Ismaily in the Egyptian Premier League before joining Shabab.
