Nigerian striker Victor Boniface has broken his silence after his proposed move to AC Milan fell through, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
The forward had been set to join the Serie A side on loan from Bayer Leverkusen, but the deal was called off after concerns arose during his medical examination.
"The Milan deal is not going through, that’s not on me. They decided not to go through with it." Said Boniface to the media.
“I have a strong mentality. If the deal was meant to happen, it’s meant to happen."
Boniface has since moved to Werder Bremen on a loan deal and has spoken out for the first time about the failed AC Milan transfer.
