Glory Ogbonna starred as Besiktas Women ended Fenerbahçe's impressive 8-match unbeaten streak with a resounding 2-0 victory in a thrilling Istanbul derby, Nigeriasoccernet.com gathered.

Goals from Shameeka Fishley and Donjeta Halilaj in the first half secured the win for Besiktas, extending their winning streak to five games.

Super Falcons defender Ogbonna, a stalwart in the Besiktas backline, played a pivotal role in the victory. She showcased her defensive prowess with commanding tackles, crucial interceptions, and inspiring leadership throughout the match. Her crucial block late in the game preserved Besiktas's 2-0 lead.
