Inter Milan, current Serie A leaders, have entered the fray of clubs eyeing Nigerian-born defender Michael Kayode, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

The 19-year-old has caught attention with his stellar performances for Fiorentina this season, contributing one goal and two assists in 19 league outings since his elevation to the first team.

Kayode's impressive displays have not gone unnoticed, with Arsenal and Barcelona previously linked with the talented full-back.

Now, according to reports from La Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter Milan has added him to their watchlist, potentially viewing him as a successor to Denzel Dumfries, whose contract extension remains unresolved.

Despite his burgeoning reputation, Kayode recently committed his future to Fiorentina by penning a contract extension that binds him to the club until the summer of 2028.
