Collins, who previously played for Cardiff City in England and SC Paderborn in Germany, has been handed the number 29 shirt at Aue. The club confirmed that the final paperwork for the transfer will be completed at the beginning of next week.

The 31-year-old, who has Bundesliga experience, arrives to fill the vacant left-back position in the Lößnitztal valley.

The move comes as a direct response to the absence of Moritz Seiffert, who is sidelined after undergoing surgery.

His injury left the squad without a natural left-back, prompting the management to secure Collins’ services.
