Neto open to Juventus return after Grabara injury

Brazilian goalkeeper Norberto Neto could return to European football after leaving Botafogo as a free agent, with Juventus considering an emergency move for the 37-year-old.

Italian transfer journalist Nicolo Schira reported on social media that the Turin club are assessing Neto as they look for a replacement for Kamil Grabara.

Grabara has suffered cruciate ligament damage and is expected to be out for an extended period, leaving Juventus in need of another goalkeeper.

Neto is understood to be willing to rejoin Juventus, having represented the club between 2015 and 2017.

The goalkeeper has also played in Europe for Barcelona, Valencia, Bournemouth and Fiorentina.
