Mancini sets sights on another Italy triumph after taking charge again

Roberto Mancini has returned as head coach of Italy and says he is targeting further success with the national team.

“I have come back to win,” Mancini said, outlining his ambitions after resuming the role.

Italy’s most recent major achievement came under Mancini. In 2021, he led the team to the European Championship title.

Since Mancini’s previous spell in charge ended, Italy have also been coached by Luciano Spalletti and Gennaro Gattuso.
