Christian Pulisic breaks Milan drought with Lecce opener

Christian Pulisic ended his wait for a goal for Milan in 2026 by giving them the lead against Lecce in Serie A.

The United States forward had not scored for Milan in any competition since 28 December 2025, when Massimiliano Allegri’s side beat Verona 3-0.

Pulisic has scored for the United States during 2026, finding the net in a friendly against Senegal, but his goal against Lecce was his first for Milan since the turn of the year.

He opened the scoring after controlling a long pass from Pavlovic and racing through one-on-one with Lecce goalkeeper Falcone. Pulisic needed only one further touch before placing the ball into the bottom corner.
