Newly appointed Abia Warriors technical adviser, Imama Amapakabo has taken work as the team commence training for the 2024/25 Nigeria Premier Football League season, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

The Umuahia-based club welcomed Imama on the first day of training, marking his return to the team for a second stint.

Amapakabo's appointment earlier this month has boosted the team's preparations, as they aim to improve on last season's narrow escape from relegation.

His time on the training ground give more clarity on who will lead the team from the stand after the revealed former trainer, Berthel Orji will keep his position as the head coach.

Meanwhile, Abia Warriors are expected to unveil their new signings later this week, as they strengthen their squad for the upcoming season.
