Ikorodu City continued their fine display in recent times to beat Niger Tornadoes in their Nigeria Premier Football League match day 33 game on Sunday, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

The Oga Boys after a 6-goal scoring spree against Katsina United last week put up a fine performance in the second half of the game to put 3 past the Ikon Alah Boys at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan Lagos.

There was nothing to choose between the two sides as the tie looked like one which the Minna side will go home with something, but they capitulated in the second 45.

Substitute Ayomide Cole began the spark for the Lagos club side as he arrived at the back post to stab home a delightful cross from Salau Yusuf in the 70th minutes.

13 minutes later, Shola Adelani rounded the goalkeeper calmly and found the back of the net to make it 2-0.

Cole with his brace put the icing on the cake connecting well to Onwe Kelechi's cross to slam home the third at additional time.

The result keep Ikorodu City fourth with 52 points, a point adrift third position Abia Warriors, three points adrift Rivers United who are second and 10 points disadvantaged of Remo Stars with 5 matches remaining.
