Experienced defender, Ifeanyi Anaemena has made a return to the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL after joining Remo Stars for the remainder of the 2022/2023 season, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

The former Enyimba centre back joins from Saudi Arabian club, Al-Nahdah FC for an undisclosed fee.

Anaemena was part of the Enyimba team  that got to the CAF Confederation Cup Semi finals in 2018 and another League title in 2019 before joining Rivers United as the second most paid player in the NPFL.

The 31-year-old who was once invited to the Super Eagles team is reported to earn above 800k per month and 9.6M per year.
