Nigeria's Ibrahim Aliyu was on the score sheet for Houston Dynamo, but could not stop his side from falling to a defeat against Chicago Fire in the Major League Soccer, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

Aliyu scored the only goal for his side as Dynamo lost 2-1 to the Men in Red at the Soldier Field, Chicago City.
The hosts opened score 10 minutes into the encounter from penalty scored by captain Xherdan Shaqiri after defender Rafael Czichos was fouled in the box during a Fire corner kick.
In the second half, Aliyu curled a well-placed shot into the upper right corner for his third of the season on 65 minute.

Substitute Gutiérrez scored the winner for the hosts 78 minute, 7 minutes after his introduction.
