Ibom Air Become Official Shirt Sponsor of Akwa United FC
Akwa United have reached a partnership deal with the foremost Nigerian airline, Ibom Air, to be the club's shirt sponsor for the new Nigeria National League season, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
The deal was announced by the club on Thursday after the two parties sealed the deal in Uyo.
According to reports, the deal sees the airline sign a Two-year contract worth N200m, which will see 50% provided in kind (flight tickets, jerseys).
Ibom Air to activate match day experience at home matches, with raffle draws and prizes for fans.
"At Ibom Air, our core pillars of support are Health, Community Development, Education, and Sports....Our goal is to support Akwa United's resurgence, to help them rise again, back to the top of the league and beyond" - Mr George Uriesi, MD/CEO, Ibom Air.
Mr. Joseph Eno, Chairman of Akwa United FC, expressed deep appreciation to Ibom Air for its timely support.
