Hearts to resume training on Thursday after Esperance thrashing

Hearts will return to training for the first time on Thursday after their CAF Confederation Cup humiliation at Esperance.

The Phobians were handed a one-day break after landing in Ghana on Tuesday from Tunisia.

The team return to the training ground ahead of Sunday’s FA Cup match against lower-tier side Afienya City at the Tema sports stadium.

Coach Herbert Addo will supervise his team’s training session at Pobiman on Thursday.

Hearts must overturn a 4-0 defeat from the first leg against Esperance to qualify to the group phase of the competition.
