Hearts of Oak players were taken a tour of the Hydro Power Generation facility in Akosombo over the weekend as a distress measure ahead of their CAF Confederation Cup clash with Esperance.

The Phobians have moved their camping base to Akuse over the past week to intensify their preparations ahead of their opening encounter away to the Tunisian giants this weekend.

The technical team and players accompanied by some clubs officials took a tour of Ghana’s largest power generation facility in Akosombo.

The tour was to distress the players whose workload appears to have doubled ahead of their trip to Tunisia.

They were also took vital lessons on various operations of the facility and the current challenges facing it which has plunged the nation in darkness for over two-years.

The team has since returned to its base in Akuse to continue with their preparations.
