Great Olympics deputy skipper Francis Mantey says he is responding well to treatment after collapsing in their 3-2 defeat against Asante Kotoko.

The 24 year old midfielder came out worse from a collision with Asante Kotoko midfielder Eric Kumi during the mid-week game at the Accra Sports stadium.

But has allayed fears by declaring he is responding well to treatment.

“I am doing well after the collision. I was given immediate attention upon arrival at the hospital and I am doing well,” Martey told Accra based Asempa FM

“I am really grateful for the interest in my health and very touched by the messages I have received.

It is however unclear if he will be fit for the weekends clash against Wa All Stars
