Gothia '24: Beyond Limit spank GIF Sundsvall in opener
Nigeria's Beyond Limit were too much to handle in the first game of the Gothia Puma Cup in Gothenburg after smashing GIF Sundsvall to a resounding victory on Monday morning, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
A hattrick from Kparobo Arierhi and a goal each by Muhammed Abdullahi and Sunday Ogbonnya gave the Ikenne based side an emphatic 5-1 at the Limbering Stadium.
Arierhi opened score for Beyond Limit on 4 minute before Sundsvall pulled one back 15 minutes later through Justin Ramadanovic.
Abdullahi made sure the lead was restored a minute after the start of the second half before Arierhi extended the lead 7 minutes later.
The goal poacher got his third for the game on 45 minute to put the game beyond Sundsvall, but the Nigerian side was not done as Ogbonnnaya put the icing on the cake with 9 minutes left to the end of the game.
