Kotoko legend Godwin Ablordey will fight his suspension at the club, GHANAsoccernet.com understands.

The former Kotoko captain has been placed on ice following accusations of disloyalty.

Ablordey, a former great of the club, has been accused of flirting with the past management of the club as pressure mounts on current chief executive Samuel Opoku Nti following the side’s difficult start to the season.

GHANAsoccernet.com understands that Ablordey intends to fight his suspension and will inform owner Otumfuo Osei Tutu 11 over his predicament.

Former star Prince Adu Poku has been asked to step in as the club’s welfare manager pending the final determination of the matter.
