Impressive Ghana defender Gideon Baah says he is not worried over the lack of opportunities at the national level and is sure his time will come.

The HJK Helsinki is highly rated in Finnish football and was nominated as one of the signings of the season after helping Helsinki to win the Finnish title in his first season.

Baah was tipped to be a national jewel following his breakthrough season with Ghanaian giants Asante Kotoko.

A career threatening injury didn’t help but Baah says the most important thing is playing on a regular basis and improving.

“I am really enjoying my football and looking forward to this coming season with a lot of hope and believe,” Baah told Ghanasoccernet.com

“As for the national team call up I guess the only thing I can do is keep improving and I know the opportunity will come.

‘”I am not really bothered because I know there is only one way to get in there and that is to do well here.”
