Ghanaian trio of Solomon Asante, Daniel Nii Adjei and Richard Kissi Boateng were all in action for Congolese giants TP Mazembe as they claimed a narro win over Egyptian side FC Smouha in the CAF Champions League on Saturday.

Asante, Nii Adjei and Kissi Boateng all started the game but Asante was replaced in the 56th minute by Thomas Ulimwengu as the Ravens took a commanding lead in Group A with 8 points from four games.

21-year-old Ivorian forward Roger Assale netted in the 53rd minute to help the former champions to their 2nd win and maintain their unbeaten run.

While the trio were starting, former Berekum Chelsea midfielder Gladson Awako warmed the bench as he was unused by coach Patrice Carteron.
