Ghanaian midfielder Samuel Asamoah scored a stunning brace for AS Eupen who posted a 3-1 win over Lierse SK in the Belgium relegation play-offs on Wednesday night.

The diminutive 21-year-old left it late to condemn Lierse to a 3-1 victory at the  Herman Vanderpoortenstadion in Lier.

Asamoah, captain of Eupen, went into the referee's books in the 38th minute but he ensured the subsequent times he went into the book was goals - coming in the 84th and 91st minutes.

He has now scored five (5) goals from midfield as Eupen continue their push for a place in next season's Belgian Pro League.

But they are three points shy of OH Leuven'11, a club they face in the final game of the season.
