Ghanaian midfielder Koffie masterminds Vancouver victory over Kwarasey's Portland Timbers

Ghanaian midfielder Gershon Koffie was in fine shape as he played part for Vancouver Whitecaps in their 2-1 victory over Adam Kwarasey's Portland Timbers in the American Major League Soccer on Saturday night.
Both Koffie and Kwarasey started the game for Vancouver and Timbers respective at the BC Place Stadium in Columbia.
Nigerian striker Fanendo Adi's 82nd minute strike was sandwich between Gabriel Mezquida Sero and Robert Earnshaw goals which came in each halves.
Koffie played until the 72nd minute when he was replaced but Kwarasey lasted the entire match for Timbers.
Timbers are still without a win from their opening two games but Vancouver are second on their table with nine (9) points from their opening four games.
Portland have signed former Benfica winger Ishmael Yartey on a loan deal from Sochaux but he is yet to arrive in the States to begin his spell with the club.
